Kathleen Conover AWS, NSW,TWSA, ISEA

Kathleen has been painting and winning awards from an early age. She won a regional school competion and never looked back. Kathleen was also fortunate to live in southern Califorina surrounded by working artists, nationally acclaimed instructors and a California style of contemporary painting.

Kathleen studied undergraduate fine arts at San Diego State University and the University of Washington. She earned her Master of Arts degree at Northern Michigan University.

Kathleen is sought after to teach workshops across the country and frequently asked to jury exhibitions. We are fortunate to have her with us to teach a workshop January 16 through January 20 and she will judge the Florida Focus 2012 exhibition. She will also be our demo artist January 17, 2012.

Welcome to South Florida's Largest Watercolor Society

The Gold Coast Watercolor Society is starting up for the season. Please join us on Tuesday, October 18th 2011. The Gold Coast Watercolor Society is dedicated to advancing the fine art of watercolor painting.

Our annual exhibits awards feature cash and merchandise prizes.

Three workshops are offered each year by world renowned artists .

Our monthly meetings provide a creative social interaction with other artists and demonstrations by recognized artists.

The paint-ins and outs offer group painting setting with live models or plein-aire

Our "active" period is from October to May. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the ArtServe auditorium. ArtServe is located at 1350 East Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
